I'm glad those parts were of use to someone (rather than just collecting dust in my parts stash).
That mobile modulator sounds interesting. I'd like to hear more about it. One modulator option to consider is the MC44BS373CA chip (it has an interesting data sheet if you google it). Some satellite boxes had a nice little module with that chip designed to output channels 21-69. It is capable of 82dBmV (Blonder Tongue units typically can make 115dBmV IIRC) so with a decent antenna it should have good range.....I've got one out of a sat box I plan to get working eventually (I just have to figure out I^2C communication on the Arduino Uno to control it).
