I cut the Masonite close to the lines with my band saw or Dremel jig saw, then on the outside edges I used my disc sander. On the "inside" edges, I just filed them to the line, and everything got a light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper.
The holes were drilled using a1/4 "Brad Point" drill bit.
