Those were very reliable chassis. Most problems were with the tuner. They were a bit tight and the tuner covers were soldered around the perimeter as well as several spots in the middle, but under an eye loop could be reliably soldered (grounds everywhere).

Any suspected tuner could be ferreted out with a solid thwack from the handle of an Xcelite wrench (they worked best).
