Well, 1966 would sound about right, as my father bought me an Elgin radio in Sept/Oct 1966 at a Rexall drug store (Wilmington, DE). I've recently bought this one as a replacement, but was not sure if it fit in the correct time period. Apparently it's the correct model. Thanks fellas!
