I haven't tried my PC's in a few years. I just fired up one of my later models and it looks pretty good. AFAIC, it's still better than watching B/W. The sound is better than many of the small import solid state sets.  |
I had to wait a day to let it recover from a cold soak on the porch, it’s bitter cold here in NW Indiana this week. But yes, it works surprisingly well with no strange noises or smells and the pots are relatively clean. It was demo’d for me immediately before packing so I was really just worried about it surviving shipping. Before I peek inside, does anyone know the tube lineup for this model?
