One of life's little pleasures used to be taking a shower in our little subdivision where we had enuff pressure to clean motorblocks, if you desired. You could also put the regulator gizmo somewhere in the middle of the temp range,& 9 times outta 10 the temperature would be PERFECT... Then, the city, in their INFINITE wisdom, had to "Improve" things. Adios, anything remotely approaching DECENT pressure. Same deal on the temperature- You'll spend 15 minutes trying to get a spot where the water won't scald you, or bury you in ice cubes.. They also send out oncet or twicet a year a big read out on what's in our water... As if anyone CARED or even knew WTF they were talking about. Our water used to be almost FREE... Not any longer.
