I went to a Chinese buffet in Corsicana, Texas a few years ago that had pizza, corndogs, and french fries. Key word here is
buffet. Chinese restaurants as you're thinking of them are a totally different ballgame. Chinese buffets the type of establishment you take the whole family to eat for $cheap$ on Friday night and you want quantity > quality. These places serve mac and cheese to appease the age 10 & under demographic but I guess anyone can eat it if they want.
