Got it. I figured out a way to get photos from the little thing minus the digi port. It has a 1/8" NTSC video out port which I used via adapters to my WinTV dongle for off air. It has a composite input and it found the pix and I got a snapshot. The Pepper cat pix is saved.
The video grab is about 60% video level of the real photo so I had to bump it up to a good exposure. This problem is actually mentioned in the software "readme" file.
I also used the WinTV to look at my early 2" disc Mavicas which upsets the WinTV. The Mavica is playing back an analog photo on a spinning disc and all the instability that comes with that. Think VHS playback from a 2" disc. It chokes and you have to grab a snapshot when it looks stable.
The WinTV is a great way to do analog grabs without editing software and conversions and a quick way to do VHS xfers at 480.
