That's the D16T, the first British TV manufactured after WW2. There's also the table model, the B16T. Identical electronics in a smaller cabinet. It used mains EHT but was otherwise a modern design with EF50 valves.
Overall a very good design capable of high quality pictures. Because they had a double wound mains transformer and grounded chassis they were also easy to convert to video monitors. The BBC used quite a few this way, notably in the 1948 London Olympics.
