I did a stretch of hard time selling TV's at Sears. "Dreamers" A.K.A
illegals would buy gift cards with cash sometimes over 1K at a
time. And that was just at my register. There must be billions getting
laundered that way. Another one is in the cities big bottles of
Tide detergent are used as a currency.

There is a gas station near me that sells new wristwatches from a display and the watches are priced in the $200-400 range. The watches look gaudy, but cheap. I'm suspecting that the actual product is something other than the watch.
