I think you can rent a one-way SUV from Hertz etc out of California to NC cheaper then a rental moving truck. Hertz has a weekly rate usually charging the same day rate for extra days over the week. I drove a Hetrz SUV from Columbus Airport to ETF convention then to Dulles Airport in Virginia one year. I added TVs to a storage unit full of TVs in Va. You would have to verify the SUV is large enough for the TRK12. I think the rental companies have a mixture of local owned and company owned vehicles. They don't want their local owned vehicles traveling 2000 miles away.
