It's been ONE WHOLE YEAR since I brought in my Philco 116-122 radio chassis to the last known tube repair shop in the metro. If you have any kind of tube electronic devices and your skills are weak you're SOL. For awhile my good friend Walter (around here somewhere) would take my "sows ears" and turn them into "silk purses". No more. What'll I do when my currently working tube sets quit? I have a 1940 Zenith console that sits dead gathering dust. No close-by repair shops!
