This is my Stromberg Carlson radio I picked up from a thrift store. I have done a partial restoration on it. The cabinet was cleaned up. I replaced the grille cloth with cloth I picked from a fabric store. I tried to match it but they did not have any thing exact. So I picked a cloth that just looked good for this.

The original power cord was gone, so I replace that.

The speaker was in shreds. I repaired it with rubber cement and strips of paper towel. Then painted it with flat black. It looks and works great now.

The tuning eye tube was not working so I got a replacement. I built a back that just hooks on to the cabinet, so I put no holes or did any damage to the original cabinet.

The first time I got this working we were picking up a station several states away on short wave.

It will need to be re-capped one day when I get the time. But thought I could just share it here.
