I bought the SNES first.. Then some time in the mid 1990s I found a Genesis on the side of the road being thrown away.. The power switch was off track and was a bit harder to turn it on, and needed the hookup wires.. For something free, I was not going to complain that's for sure.. I always thought games looked and sounded better on the SNES.. But there were games that were better on the Genesis.. I liked Mortal Kombat 1 and 2.. I remember on the Genesis they looked and sounded awful.. Sure the Genesis had the code for the blood and violence with the first one, but it didn't imo make it better than the SNES version..
