I figured out a way to stop that! I routinely use two Infinity SWAMP's (around 500 watts each) on Magneplaner 1B's. I have to use a 3500 watt sine wave on line battery back-up. When the line drops too much it simply stays on it's batteries. I could make my TV pull in from the sides if I got too enthusiastic (too loud)! It's also good for power outages. Hurricane Gustav knocked power out for a week and the back-up would run the lights and TV for about six hours. The generator charges it after that. Gives some peace and quiet between charges.
The lights still flicker with the bass notes... Kinda fun!
