Question Anyone familiar with SANYO BETACORD machines?

Hi,
I have a few higher end VHS decks and one old SONY Betamax. The Betamax is the 5000 series, low on the features, lower priced model but very well built. It does have many belts and idlers tho which were a pain to replace/clean (but I was able to do no problem) but my question is: what are your thoughts on the BETACORD machines from SANYO, as far as built quality, ease of service, reliability and of course, video quality? I have a chance to pick up a working and low use Sanyo VCR-7200 model. Honestly, the one thing that intrigued me about the BETACORDS was that most of the models actually UNTHREAD the tape in FF or REW. But the question is, are the SANYO'S as well built and/or have quality components as the equvalent BETAS? And are they worth it or not? The 7200 model locally I can score for about 100 bucks. Yes? No? Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
