I believe my oldest VHS tape is 'Alien'(1980, Magnetic Video) while my oldest Beta would be 'The African Queen' (1979, Magentic Video), 'East of Eden' (1979?, WCI Home Video), or 'Superman: The Movie'(1979, WCI Home Video).
