So, after working on my Continental all break (and still not solving whatever's wrong with it), I searched craigslist for something else I could use as a driver for a while, and came up with another Lincoln.
The paint is bad and the grille has been broken into many pieces and somebody tried to repair it with hot glue (lots of hot glue
), but it only has 69K miles on it, and I've always thought these cars were kind of neat - they came with the 4-overhead cam, aluminum block version of the 4.6L V8.
