Great screen shots. Oddly enough, the cartoon shots reminded me that when I was a kid in the sixties that I was not unhappy watching those cartoons in B&W. I though the colors were too overdone, and that the B&W TV "toned them down" to a reasonable level... Mostly the recent production (at the time) cartoons were too colorful for my tastes.
I also remember that "Astro Boy" (a Japanese import dubbed into English) was too jumpy (seems that they updated the motion about once every 1/4 second). WB cartoons had much smoother animation and you didn't see the same scenery passing by like you did in the Flintstones. Years later a Japanese co-worker was suprized to hear that I knew about Astro Boy. Was a big thing there.
