About a year ago, I was in a second hand store that had a pile of Magnavox DTV boxes without remotes. I said to myself, "I'll take a chance on them if I can get them for not more than $5/each." So, I asked the price and was told $30/each! I think they were only $40 when new, with a remote and warranty. I almost busted laughing in the woman's face.
