The lid on the set does lift up for easy access. This allows you to reach in while the set is running and adjust the purity magnets around the face of the CRT. It makes all the hairs on your arm stand on end while doing so. Sorta tests your faith.
This poor old beauty has a scruffy masonite cabinet, and the yoke housing is suffering from the "acid rot" that many yoke housings do. And the 21AXP22 is down to air (now). Once I had a horizontal line on the screen, but somewhere along the way, the CRT got bumped, so I will have to replace it before I can fix the set. But is is on my "to do" list.
