Old Magnavox for sale on Ebay

Some one might be interested in this old Magnavox Color Set on ebay. I don't know what year it is , but it is a nice set in the french provincial cabinet.

I had one from '86 with the same basic cabinet; someone had mentioned to me at the time how they stuck with it for so long. I parted mine out because it was too new to bother with, but this one might draw some interest. I'm guessing it was made right before Philips took over? Kinda looks like the old nameplate (Magnavox instead of MAGNAVOX) though it's hard to tell in the picture. Our local schools must have had a dozen of these, in cheap table model cabinets.

That looks like an early to mid '70's Magnavox control panel. It could be a hybrid (tube/transistor) chassis; but, likely to be all solid state.

Hi,

This is a 1971-1974 era hybrid chassis Maggie. It's a Fort Wayne made set pre-Philips takeover. Very decent picture. Soldering can be of Erratic quality.

A handyman could convert this cabinet into an attractive storage area.
Hard to argue with that logic. I think it would be a good place to store the guts from an old TV set.
