I cant locate the photfacts for my 1961 magnavox the model number is 7MV354R I've checked with Sams and no listing ..anybody have any clue how to find this. I'm saying 1961 as the micromatic player is dated 1961 this is a B&W set combo.

Model numbers for maggys in the 60's were almost never
listed. Look for the chassis number usually on a small tag.
Models were only good for ordering cabinet parts.

73 Zeno

Seems like it could be the "30 series" Covered in Sams 508-1.

Magnavox is one of the worst brands to get sam's for. Maggie did not share service data with anyone except their dealers, and you could order console cabinets with your choice of several different chassis combos in a given year (like you could get AC, a bigger engine, and a radio delete on a 60's car). Sam's could not document all chassis (thanks to maggie not cooperating), and what they did document is hard to search....

In your shoes I'd photograph the snot out of the chassis and go on with the resto without a schematic (assuming no parts are missing or have markings burnt off, and no hack repair/modifications were done).

You will find the schematics for the Magnavox U30 series in Riders volume(s) 26 and 27. Looks like drawings for the different runs are there. All the best, Tom

Probably a #12 6.3V Bi-Pin lamp. Sams 454-1 seems close to your set from what I can see.

If you need a #12 send me a PM.
