Zenith AC/DC 'The Continental'

I picked up this radio for about 5 bux in some store. Its model RE94Y, and it tunes in MW/FM/AIR/and Public service bands 1-2-3. Has a squelch control, as well as tone control.

I was really impressed with the audio on this set--even with batteries, at 6volts, it has a full sound. I opened it up and saw a nice 4-ohm speaker (probably eats them D-cells) and a shielded RF section. Has a uhf and vhf seperate antenna array, picks up anything thats there, basically. Anyone ever use this set? I use it as my primary portable for going to the beach, gardening, etc and have been loving it
