looks like its waking up ,let it run for awhile its probley been sitting along time. oh yes, dont leave it run alone put a movie in and watch it .

I second that "let it run a bit". He is not a tech...so seeing what he has to start with and saving the set from a bunch of possible death scenarios. Just don't let it run unnatended, just in case something goes pearshaped quickly. Looks like someone "manipulated" the convergence dials....some of the colored stuff on the neck, and maybe played with the vertical size, centering rings, etc.
He is obviously VERY proud of this. I don't want to see this thread end in misery. I think more than a schematic...he could use just a VERY thorough operating manual...and maybe a good setup guide to start with (which just may include a schematic anyway of course :-P )

If it suddenly changes the size of the picture, or makes a funny noise, Turn it off!!
It's got good color. Most of the set is running fine... Whatever you do, dont adjust the controls on the neck of the picture tube without knowing what they do. Your set is looking pretty good at this point.
