This blows me away...
Not the radio, but that someone would actually want it bad enough to pay that much (let alone having that kind of money to spend on a radio!)

It is a beautiful radio, I've never seen one like it. The selling price is unbelievable. I wonder if the seller knew what she had? It was listed for $24.95 and the opening bid was $1,000!!!

It might have fetched that price because its damage free. Most of these were riddled with hairline cracks. Of course the blue color is the rarest with these also. I agree with Pete that she couldnt have had a clue what she had with the low starting bid and the low shipping quote. Theres no way i would ship that for $12.50 I hope the buyer is nearby so they can pick it up instead of risking it getting damaged in shipment. Its a beautiful radio although a bit pricey for me.
