CTC-5 in Dallas

Was in Lula B's antique mall on Riverfront near downtown a couple of days ago, and one of the booths had a beautiful roundie 21-CTC-785 in cherry priced at $350 (a little high I know but it really was in excellent condition). Operational condition is unknown.

I found the same set on Ed Reitan's site (http://www.novia.net/~ereitan/Galler...5_Westcott.gif). Funny how they make the set look so petite in the brochures, but in reality I was quite surprised at how tall it was - around 40-something inches high.

I'm not really sure. Next time I pop in I'll bring a flashlight with me and see if I can spot the label on it.

That price sounds very reasonable if it is complete and in good physical condition.

I live here and had communicated with the owner about buying it. This was near the end of March. I contacted the owner to arrange to get it on 3/31. He told me he'd sold it the day before and it was on its way to CA.

I was wondering if someone here got it?

$350 for a CTC5 in a Blonde cabinet wasn't a bit high. It was a bit low.

As they say, you snooze, you lose.

I'd have jumped on it.

It was a 21CT7855. I believe it's the "Aldrich" as it had what looked like a cherry finish. It was absolutely mint. I have one but not quite that good. Also have a number of others and may have some for sale later this year.
