1960 Cadillac back on the road

Like all of us, shows are scarce and cars are in storage. My 1960 Cadillac SDV went to storage last Dec. and blew a head gasket on the way. Ok lets wait for a bit and I got it out in July to go to a great shop in Pottstown, PA. Heads off, gaskets galore, carb rebuild, radiator pull and repaint, Pertronix ignition and we are back. The checkbook is on oxygen though. And a few shows coming up for air. The photo reminded me that my house is only 4' wider than the Cad is long. I have too many collecting vices. Save me.

The logical next step is to start collecting houses.

That's a pretty nice Caddy! About a month ago I was looking at a 4 door 60 fleetwood but it had a bit too much Bondo and not quite enough floor and brakes. If I wasn't currently close to sinking my vintage car budget into a 47 olds 2 door fastback (vacation is delaying that presently) and you were serious about wanting someone to save you from it I'd have to ask what it'd take to buy you out.

Tom, thanks for the offer. It will stay with me for now as it is my favorite even above my 1959. The public likes the '59 but this gem is the best in a rare color. It lived is SW Ohio then went to NJ and to me. It is as original as you can see. The aftermarket AC and the seat belts make it my friend.
