Navy gear: MPLS CL
I know the top unit's a National of sort (NC-101X?), dunno about the middle unit, and I'm sure I've seen the bottom piece before: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ra...430234562.html

Yeah, John, its familiar, but I can't place it either...$40 for the lot of 'em is a bargain, though. The middle one, I got no ideer. Top one is a National-Hell, its worth the $40 by itself, & then some.

Chassis is kinda rusty on the National.

Top one is a National NC-100 from 1936. Good playing set with p/p 6F6's and a very deco front panel. Tunes bc band to 30mc and has 6E5 tuning eye tube. No xtal filter on this one.
The NC100X does: http://www.flickr.com/photos/42774321@N08/3941396777/ Looks like it is missing the back half of the cabinet but can be rack mounted with the proper brackets. If I where close I'd jump on it. Terry Last edited by 7"estatdef; 10-21-2009 at 06:02 PM. |
