"modern" mechanical tv

There is a form of "mechanical " tv(color), that is being sold as one of the hottest new froms of tv's on the market, in the HT and HDTV areas, especially.

This set, uses movable mirrriors to produce the picture, an arc light for the light source and a color wheel, to produce the correct color.

Sounds like some 1940's experiemental set?

No, I am talking about 2004 models.

Anyone care to guess what I am referring to?

(hint):: TI owns most of the patents on this design.
