CBS color system demo - Berlin 1951

Press release photo shows "Miss color Television of Germany," Fraulein Anna Hoeling, posing before the CBS field sequential TV camera during two weeks of demonstrations in Berlin.

Fascinating. CBS Field sequential in Berlin in 1951? Postwar resumption in West Germany I understand was in 1952?

If there was a color TV demonstration in Berlin, it would have been most likely from the US sector. The US TV station would have been 525 line via a low-power transmitter limited to southwestern Berlin. I cannot see the CBS system being adapted to a 50Hz country and there would be no need because the US CBS system was 144 fields per second and not locked to the power grid.

So my guess is it was the CBS 405 line 144fps.
