"20's Clarion radio

OK, this one has me stumped.

Back in the early '90's, I bought this for $25 from a radio collector who was cleaning house. It looks like it would work; but, the only thing I've done to it is move it from one shelf to another. One day, I'll build a power supply and try it.

This is a Clarion radio and the logo looks like what's on some of their newer models. Back when I got this, the president of our then antique radio club tried to find something out about this radio; but, had little luck. The only thing he could come up with is that it's a clone of a Freshman Masterpiece. It's also not listed in any of my books. If anyone can shed some light on this animal, I'd appreciate it.
