I love the longer hairstyles woman had in the '40's. Very glamorous. Then they went very short and cropped by the start of the '50's.
That Philco is one of the most common radios ever made. A while back I was almost tempted to get a nearly mint one for under $50. I just couldn't do it even at that price!

I got mine with the local company name on it for $15....I feel like I got a good deal.
