Because one converter box is not enough, now we must have converter boxes for our converter boxes...
Reminds me of a Family Guy joke "And in other news we're now broadcasting in HD. Coming up next the technology that is about to replace HD." I think I'm going to buy some HDMI to composite converters. Since HDMI can do 4K I expect it to be around for a while, and down converters to for successor standards to be produced.
