They can be reliable (I had a Silvertone CTC-15 clone in daily status for ~5 years) but always check and dip the cathode current with the lin/efficiency coil. Sam's usually has a typical and a max spec...Get too close to the max and you're on shaky ground.

Good to hear. I was just watching your video on youtube again today... yours sure does have a nice picture.

The set is an Admiral build 100%. If its a copy of the RCA I
dont know, I dont remember the tube line up.
These sets can give an unbelievable pix, as good as any.
