Exclamation Help me identify this Sanyo TV.

Found this old Sanyo up for sale on Kijiji and am interested in finding out what model or date this tv was manufactured, i noticed it looks like it has a front glass bezel too.

Looks a lot like the Fisher brand sets made by Sanyo
back in the 80's. They were a hot seller for a few years.
The Fishers had a totally different chassis than the Sanyos
at the time BUT there may have been some overlap.
Some un-subbable parts did go NLA early so thats a risk.
Of course they were high failure parts. If you get a
model & chassis # I can see if I got a manual & comment
further.

I would guess it's after '85 and before '94.......... (watch 20 people prove me wrong...)
Those years when a lot of tv's had that component stack look..... It does not look
typical Sanyo though.... Sharp had a button layout like that, but don't see them
rebranding each others stuff........

I got a 25" Sharp floor model with front glass, I think it's a '87...

Wouldn't it be simplest and most accurate to ask the seller?

Those flat glass panels were very popular around 1985-86.

If i was planning on buying it then yes, but they want $40 for it including the stand which is just absurd.

OK I will try. All the Fishers I saw of this style were pre MTS
so I would guess apx pre '86. They were sold as high end sets,
had a good jack pack for the times & would have MTS if
it were out. So stick that in your pipe & smoke it. HA HA HA.....
