Both, I don’t use the prism often because it adds 3 lbs (1.5kg) to an already heavy camera

But why in the world it's so heavy?

It's a big chunk of glass, exactly like a penta prism in a 35mm SLR but huge.

Large chunk is medium format, of that, most is the 500 c/m, and a few are the Autocord. |

I don't have any 35mm or medium format folding cameras, but I have two Polaroid 110A/B pathfinder folding cameras, one shoots on Fuji Instax wide film (Has a Lomo Belair Instax back siliconed to it) and another with a 4x5 sheet film holder adapter glued to it. Both have a Rodenstock Ysarex 127mm F4.5 lens on it.
I may be selling my Mamiya RB67 and Super 23 cameras soon, they aren't seeing much use...... |
