February 14, 1955 LIFE magazine ad for the 21AXP22

This is my absolute favorite early color ad, though its just an ad for the 21AXP22. It kind of reminds me of the early GE-Mazda lightbulb advertisements.

I'll have to hunt down the large format scanner at work and get a better copy uploaded. In the meantime, I'll frame it and get it on the wall next to the Hoffman.

Thanks for posting this. I found the same ad in Google images with no time date. Now I have verification.

Took the liberty of "defogging" it.

This one is better IMO.

etype2,
Your first "defogging" is actually much closer to how the ad appears in person than your second attempt. The color is quite vivid, and the ballerina's dress is more cyan than a "pure" or more violet blue.

Benman94, thanks for posting the date of this. I have a copy but never knew when it was published.
