To each his own, I guess..I wouldn't give $31K for every Playstation, X-box, all the games that were ever made...

My guess, people who collect these games were Computer Geeks back in the day, they grew up and got jobs with (or founded) companies like Microsoft, Apple, Google, etc... i.e. they have tons of money!

I don't have anything like THAT....

BUT...I DID recently acquire one of those little 13" , 1981 or so, Zenith BW sets with digital tuning , that some here claim is both rare and sought after..WITH the "hang tag" saying something like "advanced electronic tuning" on the tag...

I have little interest in it myself, so I WILL be willing to part with it, for something else I like...

Hmmm. I came across this game in a Salvation Army around 1996. Next to the LPs was a bin full of cassettes, 8-tracks and video games, mostly Atari and Colecovision. The funny handle, bad graphics and lack of identification is a dead giveaway. I vaguely remember looking at it and thinking it looked like some bootleg crap, and even wondering if it went with an Atari or some child's toy. It probably got tossed in the trash.

That is amazing, the value for one cartridge. Unlike a CT100 or many other items from the early days of television, this cartridge and its box could be faithfully duplicated at very low cost by any number of companies. The circuit board and ROM chip are about US$7 in parts, if even that much.

All it takes is two eccentric millionaires to cause that. Although not a millionaire, I am eccentric, and I have been known to buy a whole Toyota truck on eBay at 5 or 6x true value, then take a 14-hour train ride to get it home........ All because I wanted a warning decal in the back window for another truck I have in my collection.
