Have already been seeing Independence Day themed advertisements on the main networks for some time now! :P

It'd kinda be funny if someone worked out the forward march of companies rolling out holiday themed stuff and extrapolated what year we will start celebrating Christmas exactly a year early.

Christmas stuff will be in stores and the commercials on TV at the stroke of midnight on 10/31 as always!

Out of curiosity, what was the difference between the CTC-16 and the CTC-16XL? I’ve heard both are basically the best of the roundies made by RCA, but are the two chassis that different?

I know they used different flybacks, same connections, just different construction. Also, the "X" versions used a 6JC6 for the 3rd If and burst amp tubes in place of the 6EH7 and 6EW6 in the earlier chassis.
