I bought a grey 2"version off the rack in front of the store...1st time I ever bought a brand-new TV that WASN'T boxed up in box you could run a truck over. IIRC, the outfit went toes up not long after that...

One of my FD-10s that I found on the 'bay arrived in its original peg-hang bubble pack, I remember thinking at the time that it was kinda unusual to see a television set packaged like that... in hindsight, I should have kept the package, but I didn't.

Aside from plaid, which i'm sure was not available does anyone here know of any other colors used for the FD 40 series. The box shows a green one, but I have never seen an actual set in green.
