What's this set?

Looks pretty cool. I'm going to keep my eyes open for one.

Looks like a late 60's tube Sylvania.

I was thinking Sylvania, maybe early-70s hybrid, hard to peg the year though as the overall cabinet design held on for a number of years. Never saw a black one before. I'm hoping that the look of the control panel can narrow things down a bit more. Looking at the photo again, looks like a continuous tuner dial lit up under the knobs. No idea if they'd light up with the set on a VHF station though, which the TV is probably tuned to in order to use that game console.

May not be a black cabinet, he says the picture was way underexposed.

Probably Sylvania. They had sets with side-by-side knobs
& slide rule UHF indicator.

Is the D-06 all tubes or is it a hybrid like the D-16? How many tubes if it's a hybrid?

Hybrid it's self is an interesting term to think about if you go on a pure definition a set with one transistor in the UHF tuner is only a hybrid when tuning UHF, and the first gen Sony Trintrons that claim to be Solid State are actually hybrid due to the HV rect tube. If you count germanium or selenium diodes as SS devices you could argue that hybrid TV's started existing just after WWII and hybrid radios well before...
You may also run into a tri-generational hybrid (such as a Zenith Chromacolor) where there are some tubes, some transistors, and one or more multi pin DIP IC chips...

Anyway, still wondering if the Sylvania D-06 is a 5-tube hybrid like the D-16 or if it has more tubes or if it's all-tube.

Thanks
