Panasonic th-50px75u bad panel

I've noticed this is becoming more and more frequent with plasmas dropped off for repair. you fix one problem to discover the panel is absolutely shot. Vertical COF (chip on film) drivers embedded in the panel overheat and start to fail. eventually this is going to kill off all the PDP panels if kept alive from frequent power supply and sustain board repairs..

Oh well. For sure not holding up as well as advertised. all panel manufacturers are suffering this failure. this one in particular has a 2007 manufacturing date, although old and only 720p, I've seen 2015 (last year of plasmas)panels giving up same way.
