Old NOS can capacitors in restoration
I have a lot of old can type capacitors that were never used maybe 20-40 yrs old. I still have them as occasionally I still work on old TVs and radios.
I haven't used any of them yet but I'm debating on continuing to store them. My real question is due to the age is it worth the time to use them even if I try the method of reforming capacitors(keeping the units as close to original) or chuck them and just use something newer? Thanks Doug
