Source For T-Con Boards and LCD Displays

Does anyone have a good source for T-Con boards and LCD displays? I need them for an Insignia NS-24L120A13 Rev A TV.

When the TV works, I am missing a scan line (bad LCD) and when it does not work, I have a lot of vertical lines (T-Con).

It looks like the T-Con is permanently attached to the LCD. Their part number appears to be V236BJ1-XC01.

Thanks.

Tom

eBay seems to be the most common source for flat screen parts. If the display itself is bad it's usually not economically feasible to repair.

You could try shimming the tabs - google "tab bond failure". Its a last resort kind of thing. Sometimes it works and lasts, sometimes it works temporarily, sometimes you crack the panel trying.

Otherwise replace the panel with one pulled from another junk set. It's a standard Chimei panel used in many off brand sets.

A 24" off brand set that needs a panel and a board? Trash it, you can buy a new one for $100
