What cars are these?
In this old documentary about "Bethlehem Steel", around 1:15:00-1:15:20 2 car drwaings are appearing. Did any real models resembling to that where ever made?

I doubt it. I have never seen such designs make it past the concept car/prototype stage.

Pretty sure those never saw production in the states. The closest thing we made was the Studebaker Avanti.

A late 60s Lotus Elan +2 looked a little like the first concept car drawing:

& Avanti looks to it. Avanti also a bad choice as it was fiberglass, body came from same shop as Corvettes. At the time Studebakers were the most advanced in styling. The others look like "concept" or show cars based on production car bodies. BTW the supercharged Avanti was the worlds fastest production car in the world for the 2 years it was made. 73 Zeno |
