Another set to ID

Rectangular tube looks like 1951-52. Can't ID it. Anyone?

I'm thinking National, but have not found a picture for verification.

jr

edit add: Photofact 119-10 shows the table model Tv-1601... I suspect the console is National model Tv-1625.

JR (and Steve):

I'll help narrow it down a bit more. It looks like a National Model TV-1625.

Thanks JR & Steve K. Good call. Found this e-bay photo of a 1951 National 1601. Same knob configuration. JR, I see you did an add to your post and found the same Sam's photo I posted.

Steve - tell us more about the picture. It looks like it was taken here in California.

Steve K.

Just an photo posted on the "TV's of the past and Modern CRT's" site: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Theloveofvintagetv/

A member of that site was requesting the ID of the TV in the Christmas photo. I submitted to VK and you guys came through. The OP posted he had never heard of the National brand. However I have asked the OP if he can supply further info. I'll let you know.

Steve K. Just heard back from the original poster. Says no info on the photo was available.
