Nice zenith roundie on ebay
Looks like a nice clean set. Has some wrong information about the set. I know this particular style of set would have a 24NC31Z chassis, making it a 1966 model. A little high on the starting bid though.

In PA, I don't know why, but Zenith roundies seem to be always on the other side of the country. Last edited by Adam; 05-07-2009 at 06:18 PM. |

This is starting to remind me of "the green sedan theory". That means that although you know they made red convertibles, years later, all you can find are green sedans. In other words, where have all the sets in nice cabinets gone? Whats with all these bargain-box sets!? I am glad I was able to snag that one with the colonial maple cabinet.

The Pennsylvania Zenith is no longer listed. Seller first decided to not ship and then said they would ship. Then they found mounts for screw-in legs on the bottom so the set was not "mint" anymore with the legs missing. The listing said it was relisted, but that page says it is not available. Weasels.

It's very likely the set never had the legs, since just about any of those cabinets have the mounts for them. But you can't tell some people.
As for the green sedan theory, I guess just as there were always way more sedans than convertibles there would have been way more of these than the high end "furniture" consoles. The good thing about the cheap ones is you can fit more in a tight space.
