Hello from Canada
New member here. Decided to join because maybe I can be helpful for someone here. Been working with electronics ever since I've been a wee lad, maybe 10 or 12 years old. I cut my teeth on tube radios and TVs and have been doing so for the last 40 or so years. Interesting to look back and see all the developments in technology and how fast things progressed. I used to run a informal repair service out of my home and would help family and friends resurrect their dead televisions and VCRs among countless other things. Today, I don't do much repairs other than for myself. Technology and miniaturization has made things more difficult for me, plus at my age my eyesight doesn't help.
Nowadays I spend my free time restoring vintage BMWs and have quite a collection. If anybody's interested I could post a few pictures. Looking forward to being a member here on Videokarma. Cheers! |

Where are all of you guys? I'm in Buffalo, 15 minutes from the Peace Bridge.
I smell a potential TV swapping network
