If its got fresh solder assume its bad, wrong value, backwards,
touching something or maybe a solder splash. Also watch the controls, they break real easy. When we got sets in that had been worked on, usually shotgunned nobody wanted to deal with them. You rarely could get a honest story from the customer either. You didnt want to bad mouth another shop either. We had excelent relations & wanted to keep it that way. 73 Zeno |

Thanks for your reply. It doesn't look like a whole lot has been done, but from what you say, it looks like it's going to be impossible to fix without the service manual. Does anyone have a copy of one on here by any chance?
All controls seem fine, even internal ones, as they all do what they are intended to do. Quote:
